Are you wondering which option is better between taking fish capsules and eating fish? You are not alone, there are many other people asking the same question; I am going to answer that shortly.

Fish is the best source of omega 3 (n-3) because it contains dha and epa (benefits of n-3 are derived from them); plants such as flaxseed do not contain these two fatty acids, rather they contain ALA which must be turned into dha and epa before it could be used by your body. Fish capsules are also better because they are cheaper; it will cost you a lot of money to buy the quantity of salmon or tuna that will give you the required daily amounts of omega-3. However, with less that $20, you can buy a month's worth of good quality supplements.
