Losing weight the Herbalife way can be quite rewarding. The Herbal life weight loss program has often been perceived as icky shakes and vitamins in order to lose weight. This couldn't be further from the truth.

How It Works

The Shapeworks weight loss program does consist of two meal replacement shakes with one nutritious dinner. You can look at this in two ways.

You're depriving yourself of two meals a day and it is just unbearable to even think about, or

You're replacing two meals a day on the ShapeWorks diet with one healthy, delicious meal.

Instead of focusing on the fact that you're missing two meals, focus on the one delicious meal that you will be having. There are tons and tons of recipes and variations of meals that you can prepare to be healthy, fulfilling, and tasty. Healthy doesn't mean it doesn't have to taste good and here are a few healthy recipes for you to try while you are on the Herbal life weight loss program.

Recipes

Salmon

1 Fillet of Salmon; chopped parsley; salt and/or garlic salt to your taste;

lemon pepper; no calorie butter spray. Coat the salmon with the butter spray, then dust with the seasonings.  Put it in the oven at 350 degrees and bake until flaky.  Time will vary but is approximately 10 minutes.

Pan Fried Flounder

1 pound of flounders - filleted; Salt & pepper; 1 cup of white cornmeal ;

1/2 cup of white flour;  2 eggs, beaten ; No calorie cooking spray

Dip cleaned flounder into beaten eggs.  Mix the ingredients - salt, pepper, flour, and the cornmeal.  Cover fillets in the mix.  Place into non-stick skillet that has been sprayed with no calorie spray and fry until tender.  If fish begins to stick, add a bit of refrigerated butter spray to the pan.

Tuna Patties

1 can of tuna in Spring Water, do not drain; 1 Small Egg ; 1/4 cup of White Flour; 1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder, sifted ; 6 Crushed Saltines

Salt, Pepper; 1/4 cup of the following finely diced vegetables: onion, celery, bell pepper; Mix and form into patties.  Cook until golden in non-stick pan sprayed with butter flavored cooking spray.

Makes several patties.  Recipe contains about 325 calories.

Stirfry

3-4 broccoli florets; ½ cup of chopped or shredded cabbage - any color;½ sliced bell pepper; 6 baby carrots - leave whole; ½ zucchini sliced very thin; 3 sliced mushrooms; 6 asparagus spears cut in 2' sectionsnon-stick cooking spray; no-calorie butter spray (the kind you store in the fridge); salt & pepper. Spray non-stick pan with cooking spray. Add carrots, broccoli, peppers and cook for a couple of minutes. Add zucchini, asparagus, cabbage and mushrooms. Cook until tender. Add a little butter spray, salt and pepper.
