The act of snoring does not actually cause damage to the body. However, it can be terribly frustrating to those who snore or to the people who reside with a snorer. Snoring is simply the vibration in the throat area or nose and mouth created when air passage is reduced. A number of factors can cause the lessening of airflow. A person may be born with certain predeterminants like the size of the throat or nasal cavity. Not much could be changed for someone in this situation especially since they did not have anything to do with creating the snoring culprit. A person who has certain habits however such as smoking or not exercising may well be worsening the problem. There are a number of programs that initially focus on such areas in order to help eiliminate snoring. Exercising and dropping the cigarettes can lead to either lessened snoring or even stopping completely. Anyone who suffers from stress likely knows this can also lead to snoring. Stress can also be a reason for the onset of snoring. Many of the health problems we face today including snoring can be attributed to the stressful lifestyles that most of us live. The throat and nose change shape (either becoming thicker or thinner) as we age, which means that a number of people don't even start snoring until later in life. The throat begins to grow thinner at the same time the linings of the nasal cavities begin to thicken. Many people who have never snored in their lives find the annoying habit creeping into bed with them only after they've reached fifty. The inability to get healthy and uninterupted sleep is certainly the result of snoring. A person can become sleep deprived after only a night or two of interupted slumber. We are unable to react quickly or adequately in our day to day lives as a result of sleep deprivation. Our overall health suffers as well. Focusing on the reduction of tension and/or stress is something I have incorporated into The Stop Snoring Exercise Program. In developing The Stop Snoring Exercise Program, I realized that addressing a person's stress level would be a primary element of the program. Improved air intake tackles major elements of snoring. The ability to sleep peacefully and adequately does take some practice. However, the health improvements are well worth it. Posturing ourselves for a great night's sleep takes a small bit of effort. The amazing results however, might just be the best night's sleep you have had in years! |
