I wanted to talk to you about how you can open breathing airways and stop snoring. Snoring is caused by restrictions of loose tissue in the throat the air must pass by. As you breath in and out, the tissue starts to vibrate than resonate. This resonation causes the sounds of snoring that you're trying to get rid of. The environment for snoring is an airway in the throat that is quite closed and has a lot of moving to do to get through it. If you want to be able to eliminate snoring you have to open things up, so air can travel. I want to show you how to open breathing airways and stop snoring. The one characteristic I always see of people that snore is them lying on their back breathing in their mouth. When you lie on your back, gravity pulls a piece of loose tissue into the airway of your throat. That inevitably leads to snoring. Something simple that you can do is roll onto your side. When you're on your side, gravity will pull the loose tissue to the side of the throat and out of the way of the air path. Sometimes that isn't enough though for some people If you really want to open breathing airways and stop snoring you have to have your jaw held in an up and closed position. You can do this with a simple headband that wraps around your head and jaw. When your jaw is closed the airways automatically expand and there is a lot more room for air to travel.
