Getting rid of those extra pounds whether for the beach, a wedding, a reunion, or because you might suffer a stroke or heart attack, can be difficult. On one hand the doughnuts beckon and on the other that perfect Adonis or Venusian body poses from beneath the glossy surface of Health & Fitness Magazine. So far, the doughnuts have won the battle by getting to you in the moment.  By this I mean that when you see the doughnut and smell the doughnut you eat the doughnut and then say, “Rats, foiled again.” Its not that you would rather sit on the couch the rest of you life grunting as you rut around in a half empty Dunkin' Donuts box, but you tend to give in doughnut by doughnut thinking, "This will be my last one." Every day that you think about dieting you are either gaining weight or holding onto it. So why not get busy choosing a diet and starting it. Then you can concentrate on the third most important thing about weight-loss- sticking with it!
