Getting Thinner Without Counting Calories Is Really SimpleMost people believe that calories are the enemy, since eating excess calories leads to excess blubber, right? That is the reason why most people believe that the fastest way to shed pounds and getting thinner is to chop way back on calories each day. In fact, if a dieter is eating 2,500 calories per day and they decide to chop back to 1,500 calories per day then clearly those extra 1,000 calories have to end up in weight loss, right? On the first day of dieting you are motivated to your goal of getting thinner and decide not to eat anything for breakfast. Unfortunately, this motivation doesn't last for long, because after a few hours, your hunger starts making you're feeling miserable. This is actually because your body is not accustomed to this type of starvation, and your body is not accustomed to being without calories for so long. Eventually, in several hours , when it's time for your next you feel so miserable and hungry that you have a major headache. And it is about this time that you ultimately begin to realize that starving yourself won't be the best method of getting thinner after all. After this first day of starving yourself you're feeling hideous, but you're determined to stick to your diet since getting thinner is still a priority. And, usually, you will likely hold out for another few days on this diet. Or, if you are truly inspired, you may be able to continue with this torture for a week or 2. However, without regard for how long you really continue on this kind of starvation diet, you will not get any slimmer using this kind of weight loss method. And the final result will still be the same. You see, even after two weeks of starving yourself you will not have accomplished any significant weight loss in the slightest. The cause of this is because most of the weight lost during a low cal diet is just water weight, and not real fat loss. Weight lost during a starvation diet will be gained back right away when you stop dieting and start eating usually again. And unfortunately, your body will still look the same when you look in the mirror. The reason for that is simple, when you go on a starvation diet, your body will start burning less calories each day. For example, if you normally eat about 3,000 calories per day, and cut back seriously to one thousand calories per day, your body will adjust to this new level. Even though you're eating two thousand less calories every day, your body will begin burning two thousand fewer calories each day. So your weight will stay the same although you are eating two thousand fewer calories a day. The reality is that your body doesn't pay attention to how many daily calories you consume, your body focuses on what quantity of EACH sort of calorie that you consume. As an example, if you eat too many sugar based calories ( sugar is common in fat free foods ) then your body will not be ready to use all those sugar calories, and the excess calories will be stored as fat tissue. This may occur even if you did not eat very many daily calories, because if you eat too many "wrong" calories then you will get fat.
