One of the many ways to increase your metabolism naturally is to eat frequently. You should eat 2-3 hours per day. Make sure you eat small meals, though. You don't want to chow down every meal. And be sure not to skip any meals.

Doing so will cause you to decrease your metabolism.

When exercising, you can do anything that requires you to be active. You can walk, run, or jog around your neighborhood, workout at your local gym, use a home gym, or do push-ups, sit-ups or crunches, and squats at home in your living room.

Besides helping your metabolism, exercising will also help tone and tighten your muscles. This will help keep your arms and other areas of your body from sagging.

As a side note, make sure you're consistent on your weight loss efforts. Whenever changing the foods you eat, give it at least 2 weeks before deciding it's not working for you. It usually takes a few days for your body to show the effects.
