If you want to change the condition of your scalp you need to work on the whole body. Work on the whole body from the inside out. One way of changing the condition of your whole body is to dramatically change the foods you eat for a short period of time. Use this time as a test. The test is to see how dramatically you can change your dry, scaly scalp by consuming more beneficial foods. Can you create a healthier scalp using nutritious raw foods? I recently asked an adult eczema sufferer to change her diet for ten days to transform her weeping, dry scalp. She was convinced that the only way to make an improvement to her rash was to use external creams and ointments which contained steroids. She said these were the only treatments that worked for her. She agreed to follow “The Ten Day Raw Plan” which I sent to her. She followed the raw food plan for seven days and emailed me on the eighth day stating that her scalp condition had improved and she could see that the raw foods she was now eating had changed the condition of her scalp. Other benefits she noticed included more energy, smoother skin all over and she actually looked younger in age too. Most importantly the characteristic of her eczema had changed for the better. The basis of the raw plan are as follows: Scalp Eczema – Meal #1 Breakfast should consist of either fruit or vegetable juice with green food. An ideal combination is carrot and apple with spinach. Or celery, tomato and kale. Scalp Eczema – Meal #2 Lunch is a large mixed salad containing at least seven vegetables. Prepare a large, wholesome, healthy raw salad. For example: cabbage, parsnips, peppers, tomatoes, onions, kale, broccoli. Dress your salad with olive oil and the juice of half a lemon. You can season with salt, pepper and herbs of your choice. Scalp Eczema – Meal #3 Dinner should be a meal of partially cooked grain and vegetables. Try a small bowl of steamed brown rice and stir fry vegetables. You could have lentil or split peas soup instead with some rye bread. |
