DATELINE: BRAINTREE, MASS… As part of an ongoing educational series for family caregivers, South Shore Elder Services Inc. will host a workshop that addresses driving issues affecting seniors and their families. “At the Crossroads - Alzheimer’s Disease, Dementia & Driving” workshop will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2008 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at South Shore Elder Services, 159 Bay State Drive in Braintree. Families will be able to: • Learn the driving behavior warning signs • Feel better prepared to address the issue of limiting or stopping driving with your relative or loved one • Make a plan to talk with their relative or loved one about limiting or stopping driving. This workshop is FREE and refreshments will be provided. This program is funded by Title IIIE funds through the Older Americans Act.
